How to change the program language

Post by illusion2496 »

After I installed the program. It automatically displayed in Chinese but most of them are error characters which I cannot read. I need the program language to be in English. Where can I change it? Please tell me in details because all the chararcters are error on the menu. So I don't know which one is "File", or "Tools", etc. Please help me!

That's a disturbing problem :D

When you're in EarMaster, go to tab number 8 (from left to right). That's the Tools menu.

Then click on the top line (with a panel icon)

A window pops up. You stay under the first tab.

There are 6 smaller parts in that window. You go to the one at the top left of the window, and use the selection interface: That's where you'll be able to choose another language.

I hope I was clear enough, otherwise I'll try with screenshots ;-)

Notice that after choosing your language, you'll have to close and restart EarMaster in order to use it with the new language.

That's because there's a small difference between the arrangement of menus on Mac and Windows.

The menu for "Program settings..." is the second menu item under "EarMaster Pro 5" menu - which again is second to the Apple menu at the upper left of the screen.

The windows are the same, and on swedish you see the label with "Språk" and a combobox with "Svenska" - change this to "English", hit the OK button, and restart EarMaster.

Hope this helps,
