Earmaster licens for Pc/mac

Post by Anders Ammitzbøll »

Hi There...

I have just begun using the Mac system instead of using Pc. I purchaced earmaster a while ago, but only to find out that earmaster does not work with the mac system.. So i checked the website and it said the a Mac version will be available soon... And so my question is do i have to buy a whole new licens to earmaster or will i be able to use my old licens for the mac version?

I remember reading somewhere on these fora that you will, in fact, be able to use your old serial for the mac version.

hej guys,

that´s actually true :laugh3: ... you don´t have to purchace a new licence for Earmaster, you can use you serial number directly in the new Mac version, which will be ready before christmas (the beta version will be ready october/november)...and we are looking forward to get your feedback for this new version 8-)

best regards,

Patricio I have same problem as you, I have a question too...so does this mean that when it is finally released, I can download it for free since I already have the PC version? I have already registered it on earmaster..

now my other question is, would it be compatible on tiger?
Peace

When the Mac version will be ready, a trial version will be available for download. That Mac trial version will be working with your previous Windows serial number, which means that if you own a valid EarMaster license key, you can switch over to the Mac version by downloading it without any extra charges or anything. Simply type in your Windows serial number and it will work. :-)

I think you misunderstood what I wrote.

All EarMaster 5 serial numbers will be universal, and serial numbers for the Windows version will work with the Mac version.

This means that if you already have the Windows version, you will be able to download the Mac version trial from our website, and ACTIVATE it (unlock it) with your serial number, just like you would do when you buy the download version for the first time. only this time you won't have to pay again because you already have a EarMaster 5 serial number.

This has been explained several times, and this is in my opinion a great gesture that a very few software producers would do. Many publishers release two different versions with different pricings, etc. We don't do that.

It should be working on OSX 10.4 Tiger and 10.5 Leopard, with either PPC or Intel processors.
