Will not accept answer when using microphone

I have the Earmaster 4,0 Pro.
In the melodi-dictation window, I try to use my saxophone to answer the questions, but even though I play the correct note, Earmaster will not accept my answer.
I play in my microphone and use the pedal on my keyboard to submit my answer to Earmaster. When I play the note, it says that I can press insert, but that is difficult, when both hands are occupied on my saxophone.
Can anybody help me??

There is a function in version 5 that is solving that problem: you can set up the program in such a way that it automatically inserts the tones after the number of milliseconds of your choice. I use this function with my guitar and it's great to input chords (instead of battling between the guitar, the tones that have to hold and the keyboard...I guess it's even worse with a saxophone).
Unfortunately, that function didn't make it in version 4. You can try to download version 5 and see if the new Auto Insert option suits your need.
