No count in for melodic sight singing
In the melodic sight singing exercise settings I have the 'play lead in' option checked but it only gives me one click before it starts recording. Is this the way it's supposed to work? I'm on a Mac, OS 10.12.4 Earmaster Pro 6, I'm using headphones.

Hello, If there are no accompanying chords, then the metronome is looped until you start singing the first tone. However, if background noise is detected by the software, it will "think" that you have started singing the answer. This also applies if you are ot using headphones and the metronome sounds are detected picked up by your microphone. Here are 2 things that should solve the problem:
1. Use headphones for all exercises that involve a microphone. It is possible to set up the mic input to work fine without, but in most cases, using headphones is much easier.
2. Go though the Mic Calibration Tool again (TOOLS menu) and lower the sensitivity a bit. When adjusting the sensitivity, make sure the level meter only passes the upper half when you are actually singing.
