Hi,
When I use the "Chord Progressions" section, after each answer a text box appears that reads "Custom Exception: invalid type cast". What does this mean?

Re: Chord Progressions
This is something related to the fonts used for the notation. Are you on Mac or Windows? Have you installed the latest update?

A reply to the original post mentions the notation for chords. Is there a way of changing this? (I'm using Mac OSX.) In general, the default font is not very easy to read, and in particular the use of upper-case B where a lower-case one would be usual is unwelcome (for example B5 instead of b5 or MI7(B5) instead of Mi7(b5) ).

Hello,
In the English version, chords are written with a lowercase 'b'. Are you perhaps using EarMaster in another language? If yes, which language are you using?

Re: Chord Progressions
Thank you for replying. I'm using English. After I've answered a question, the sequence of chords is shown in green above the stave, and chord symbols are shown in rounded squares under the chords. That's the notation I'd like to change if possible. I could attach a picture of it to an email. (Couldn't paste one into this reply.)

Re: Chord Progressions
Perhaps you are using the Jazz notation style. You can change it to a more traditional style in EarMaster's preferences (TOOLS menu --> Preference --> Notation style).
If that wan't the problem, please send a screenshot to support@earmaster.com

Great The capital B in the text versions of the chords is obviously an error, and we will fix that as soon as possible.
