6.9 singing melodic fragment by sight -Help

Post by itzik0525168 »

Hi,
In this exercise hear the first note and need to sing the rest of the notes(all the notes visible).
I hear the first note and need to sing the rest of the notes.
I'm not sure how i need to sing
1. like in the pitch matching exercise (simply sing 'taa' in the right pitch)- i succeed in this way
2. sing do,re,mi etc.- i don't success in this way. I don't produce the right pitch when i try to sing this way. i can see do and sing do
but actually, I'm sing re.

I'm little confused in which way to sing, and why in the first I succeed and in the second not.

Hi,

Maybe you could try to focus on singing intervals as solfege syllables to start with. You can use the Interval Singing Workshop for that.
