MacOS - Cannot open EarMaster

Hello,

I just bought EarMaster 7 and tried to open it on my MacBook, but I only get the following error messages:

Code: Select all

tMainForm.FormCreate
Invalid floating point operation

and

Code: Select all

tEarKernel.SetMode: from -1 to 0
Access violation at address 000000010F24C4E0, accessing address 0000000000000098

I already tried the versions from the AppStore and from the website - even the beta version.
Additionally, I restarted the MacBook after the installation just to be sure, but that also didn't work.

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and I'm on the beta program of MacOS Sonoma.

Is there anything I can try out to make it work?

Hi, EarMaster is not yet ready for Sonoma, which will first come out in the autumn 2023. WE are preparing EarMaster for Sonoma compatibility at the moment. Hi, it has been ready for Sonoma since a few weeks before its official release. So you can download the latest update in order to use EarMaster 7 on Sonoma. We sent info about that via our newsletter, Facebook and Twitter/X.
