I'm trying to find the best way to configure ear master, so that it reliably insert's tones when I play them on my electric guitar. I'm playing them through the microphone on my computer (windows XP), and they seem to be registering correctly on the ear master fretboard and the staff. The tones that register as my answers though, even when I play very slow, seem to be inconsistent in terms of their accuracy.
Any help appreciated.
Using an electric guitar to insert tones.

Hi,
I think you should try to configurate you microphone once again with the "Microphone Tuning Wizard" which you can finde under the "Tools" menu. There you will finde the possibility that EarMaster choose between "even armonics", "odd armonics" or "even and odd armonics".. that should help to insert your answers with the rigth accuracy, try which option is the one that works best for you instrument... another thing, did you try pluging in you guitar directly to your Input through a pre-amp? ...
good luck .
