Microphone setup - program freezes

I am experiencing the following problem; as soon as I come to the last stage in the microphone setup window, the program freezes on me and shuts down. I have reinstalled the program, but the same thing still happens. Could you guys help me out?

Hi,

Please answer the following questions so that we can try to figure out what the problem may be:

1) What OS are you running EarMaster on,

2) How are you connecting your microphone?

3) What version of EarMaster are you using?

4) Are there any other programs using microphone input running at the same time as EarMaster when the crash happens?
