Hi Quentin,
This concerns with the behavior of notes when answering and committing a wrong note(s) in comparison between interval identification and melodic dictation using a musical keyboard to answer every note.
In the Interval Identification, when I press two consecutive notes either I hear one of them or both of them are wrong and I want to change it before hitting "show the answer" , I can just press two new consecutive notes to correct my answer and my two previous wrong notes I answered are automatically erased.
I like it this way because there is no need to press erase or anything else so my concentration is focused on the notes to answer in my mind.
Even when accidentally pressing more than two notes, pressing new notes will automatically replaces them.
Whereas in the Melodic Dictation, It doesnt automatically erases the notes which makes me stop and erase notes, I cant rely on the A2 shortcut key in my piano because it erases more than one note most of the time. or I stop and reach my mouse to erase each wrong note and press "play question" again.
Especially when answering at 5 tones or more in high bpm, the notes Im hearing in my mind will get lost when I stop and do some erasing and my practice is in the case of more than 5 notes when I made a mistake in the last two note I dont erase the wrong notes its better for me to do the whole string of notes again.
In the Chord Identification, Chord Inversion and Chord progerssion they dont behave like the melodic dictation.
Can we fix this problem?

I discussed the issue with Hans, and the deletion of several notes at a time using the remote control is an old bug that has been fixed. If you update EarMaster, the fix should be added to your version. Also, make sure to release the preceding note before entering the next, otherwise both notes will be interpreted as a group of notes, and will be deleted together.
