Microphone problem

Post by gaga543 »

Hi,

I have a very similar problem to this one:
http://www.earmaster.com/community/view ... microphone

Earmaster 5 does not detect any sound from my mic. I have an M-Audio Delta 44 soundcard with a preamp. I've got the latest drivers. I also have an integrated soundcard, both of them are working simultaniously without any problems. I have a 32bit windows vista with service pack 2. In the Control Panel I chose the Line 1/2 input as default (the 1st and 2nd input of the delta 44) but I do not see the volume meter moving, however I can record in cubase without any problem. Also, windows soundrecorded can record perfectly. I disabled the integrated soundcard, but still nothing. If its possible I would like to use the mic from the M-Audio so I don't have to plug in and out the mic all the time.

Thank you for your help!

Hi,
Is your microphone plugged into the first channel of your soundcard? If not, please try to do so and text if EarMaster detects audio input.
