Can EarMaster Pro 5 keep score records for multiple students
I'm not understanding how my individual students may use my EarMaster Pro 5 program. Can their individual scores be remembered? Can their progress through the program be remembered for their next session? I thought I saw something about they must each have their own individual Windows account with username. I'm on Mac OS 10.7.4. Where do they create their own Windows account?
With EarMaster School each student can have its own login, and the teacher can get the overview of all student results.
EarMaster Pro doesn't have this: Here you login automatically when you start EarMaster. It will in this way enable one user for each windows or mac user account.
You have a mac so in your case you have a mac account.
Many people have configured their computer (windows or mac) in such a way that more users can access it, and start it with their own programs, background and other preferences. If more user accounts are configured on your computer, users of your computer have to login when they want to reach their user account, by typing their name, or password. That is a user account in a nutshell, and it is this account that EarMaster uses, to enable more users in EarMaster Pro.
This means that if you have EarMaster Pro and you like to have 2 people using EarMaster, you need to give each of them their own Mac user account.
