Interval Singing pitch

When singing intervals, the program requires me to sing the right pitch, even when in settings the answer recognition is set to each octave.

Is it with EarMaster 6? I just tried to have EarMaster play questions in the Sopano range, and my answers are correct when I then sing them in my baritone range.

Please make sure that "Any Octave" is the active "Answer Identification" option in the exercise settings menu for that activity. The Exercise Settings parameters are set independently for each activity, so if you selected "any octave" in another activity, it doesn't mean the option will be active in interval singing.

Indeed, I am working with Earmaster 6 since 2 weeks. (before I used version 5)
My personal voice range is set to "tenor", but I also tried other ones. In the settings menu, the answer identification is set to "any octave", the 2nd option from the drop-down menu (1st option is "absolute, 2nd option is "any octave" and 3rd option is "relative", but this option is greyed out).
When e.g. in an interval singing exercise, I choose to sing secundo's (settings as mentioned above), I sing a secundo on the given note but in a lower octave. Earmaster is giving me a wrong answer and it identifies it as absolute, so in case of the secundo in a lower octave it recognizes it as the inversion of the secundo, i.e. a minor septime.
I have added a screenshot file which shows the menu settings as well as how the answer is recognised by Earmaster 6.

Ah, ok I understand now. It is exactly because of the fact that the answer can be interpreted as an inverted interval that you get wrong answers. If you need to sing the intervals at a different octave, you will need to also sing the starting note. Then your answers will be accepted at a different octave.
