Hello Quentin,

I was happy to see that in the update you have taken into account my two posts from April 18 and April 24 about two mistakes I discovered. But I have a problem getting the correct update.
I have bought Earmaster in the Mac Appstore, so I also got the update from there.
But the update from the Mac Appstore does not fix the mistakes I mentioned in my earlier posts: still no possibility to work through the lessons I mentioned correctly.
When I download the update directly from the Earmaster site everything is indeed fixed, everything works fine. But when I update this way, I get the Earmaster trial version and I need a serial number to activate. I applied for my serial number on the your web site, but I don't receive one. Is that because I bought Earmaster in the Mac Appstore? I can't find a serial number in the confirmation mail I got from Apple after buying.
How do I solve this problem? Where is my serial number?

Hi,

The Mac Appstore version was updated a few days ago, so it should have the same fixes/features as the one on the website.

It is not possible to update a Mac Appstore version with a file from outside the Mac Appstore (e.g. a developer's website), because even though the software is the same, the actual file is compiled in a certain way to meet the Appstore's requirement (for license, sandboxing, and some other technical requirements).

Which was the bug that you didn't find fixed in the Appstore version?

Thank you. We will have a look at the Mac Appstore version and add the missing fix.

Updates to the Appstore version take longer time than with the regular version because each time the application is queuing to be reviewed by Apple staff, so if you can't wait for the next update, please get in touch with support@earmaster.com so that we may try to provide you with the fixed version of the course for the Appstore version.
