Re: Lost my class
Hello,
If you are using EarMaster Cloud, then perhaps your login was simply erased somehow after the update. Could you please go to the File menu, and choose User Properties. Then, under the Cloud sync tab, make sure that your user credentials are correct, use the "Test account" to make sure all is in order, and if it is, tick the "Enable Cloud sync" box at the top left.

Re: Lost my class
Hi All,
I have exactly the same problem. I have checked my cloud settings and all is correct (and tests out fine). My class roster is gone and the students results are missing. Again, this happened after the update. Please help.
Thank you,
Elliott

Hello,
If your users are still listed in the web interface of EarMaster, then don't worry, they are not gone, they are simply not displayed in the software.
With the last update, a few changes have been made to better support special characters and to ignore capitilizing of letters, which caused problems in some situations. I think that you need to purge the local lists of students and results so that they are fetched again by EarMaster from the cloud and diplayed correctly.
First, go to User Administration in EarMaster and use the "Refresh" command from the View menu. Do then the same in the Student results window.
If that doesn't solve the problem, please do the following:
1. Close EarMaster
2. Go to C:\ProgramData\EarMaster\6.0\Data (Windows) or /Users/Shared/EarMaster/6.0/Data (OSX)
3. Erase the following files:
- Class.da6
- Userindx.da6
- All the files in the "Results" folder
- All the files in the "Users" folder
4. Start EarMaster, log in, and check that it now fetches all users and results correctly.
