changing from PC to Mac
I have a Mac (OSX) and have been using EarMaster on it via Parallels software for a couple of years. I recently downloaded the trial version of EarMaster for Mac and it works very well. I had the impression that I would could change to the Mac version without charge, but cannot see how to do this. I have four days left in my trial version. Thanks for an excellent program.
Hi,
If you have the Win version, you can indeed use the Mac version free of charge. You simply have to use the serial number you received with your Windows version to activate the Mac version.
The number shown after starting the program and in "About EarMaster" is not complete for privacy reasons.
If you are a registered user, you can wrtie to our support address (see the Contact page of our website), give your full name and e-mail address and we will most likely be able to recover your serial number.
Best regards,
Quentin

More PC to Mac questions
Hi,
I recently moved my copy of Earmaster Pro from a Dell to a Macbook Pro. It's been taking me awhile to get used the different look and feel of the Mac version.
One problem I have is. I normally input my answers using the Piano. If I made a mistake or changed my mind, I simply would select the note and right-click my mouse, and the note on the piano would be erased. However, I am unable to do this using the mouse on my MAc. Is there a way to use the mouse to erase a note on the piano?
Thanks,
Dana

Hello,
A standard Mac mouse has only one button.
To right-click with a Mac mouse, you need to hold the "Ctrl" button while clicking on the tone you want to erase. I have also tried once a Mac mouse where right-clicking was obtained by putting more pressure on the right side of the mouse but I don't know if they dropped that idea.
If you use the touch pad of your MB Pro, you can also put two fingers on the touchpad while clicking on the tone to erase.
Last option: you can choose to use a mouse with two buttons instead of the standard Mac mouse, but don't tell the people from Apple
