way to lock a lesson?

Is there a way to create a tutor or lesson, and lock it so it can only be taken once by a student, as a quiz?

Hi,
It is not possible to lock a lesson to be taken only once, but each attempt will however be shown as a separate entry in the statistics window, which makes it easy for you to single out the student's first attempt.
