Metronome lead in count

Post by Guest »

Hi

In the rhythm exercises, I don't like to hear the metronome, but I need the introduction to the rythm anyway.

If you deselect the metronome, you don't hear it during the lead in count, i think there should be an option in wich you can choose a number of times the metronome will play the full count, and then stop, so you can make the exercise without mentronome but with rhythm introduction.

Also about rhythm exercises, I think another good option to add is the possibility to set a tempo range, I mean, instead of setting the tempo to 70, you set it to something like 50-70, then in the questions, EarMaster chooses a random value between those numbers to set the tempo.

And one more thing, for the rhythm reading exercise, would be great if you could crate your own patterns to practice a given combination of note values.

If you are using EarMaster 5.0 then you can control when the metronome is active with the options in the "Exercise settings" menu:

"Play lead-in": choose if the metronome should sound during the lead-in
"Play rhythm with metronome": choose if the metronome should sound while the rhythm is played
"Clap rhythm with metronome": choose if the metronome should sound while you clap the rhythm.
