microphone support suspect

Post by brossi »

currently i have much trouble getting the microphone setup to work right. i run through the wizard fine, however when it should be configured like when practicing the site reading via clapping, it only provides midi input selection, and the icon in the bottom right corner is always greyed out. i am running vista on a laptop, it was working for a short time with an external mike, but something happened and now nothing. i have switched to the internal mic on the display, but this doesn't appear to be srong enough, any suggestions to try here? this feature i really like becasue it helps me with timing. thanks for any suggestions ;-( ;-(

Hi,
Could try to click on "Evaluate Note Length" in the Exercise Settings menu, and see if the microphone input option is selectable again (in the Rhythm Reading exercise)

Ok, I understand. Great that it's up and working again then! :-)
