No dotted rhythm in melody dictation

An enquiry has come to me from a person in mainland China:

There are dotted rhythms in rhythmic training sections.
Why is it that there is no dotted rhythm in melody dictation?
It is very important to have dotted rhythms in melodic dictation for a complete musicianship training. Is it possible for EarMaster to include dotted rhythms in melody dictation?
