Bass and treble staff collision

Notes show up on ledger lines above the bass staff and overlap with the the treble staff. How do I extend the space between the staves, or, better yet, how do I get the notes on those ledger lines to move up automatically to the treble staff?

This is unfortunately not possible with EarMaster 5. We are currently working on improving the staff for the next version of EarMaster.
