Auto insert of a tone (interval singing)

Is there a reason why I cannot go less than 600ms using the down arrow? I can set to <600 if I type in the number (e.g. 200ms), but this gets re-set to 600ms when I re-launch the application.

Hi Cameron,
600ms is the minimal period needed by EarMaster to analyze sound and determine which tone was sung.
