Is there a way to set my preferences for Ear Master to use the internal mic input without affecting my other programs?
I use the internal mic on my MacBook Pro to practice interval singing with Ear Master.
I also I have an Apogee Gio which I record guitar into Logic Studio via line in.
When I close Ear Master and launch Logic, a message asks me if I want to change my audio input settings from internal mic to the Gio. I choose yes.
And vise versa, when I close Logic and launch Ear Master, I have to run the Microphone Tuning Wizard to set up the internal mic for audio input.
It would be nice not to have to keep making these changes each time I use each application.
Thanks in advance,
Dana
Setting and keeping preferences for Ear Master

Hi Quentin,
Just an FYI, I recently purchased a program called Tape Deck (http://tapedeckapp.com/). It works similar to an old tape machine. I'm able to use Tape Deck with my built in mic, and then switch to Logic Studio and use my line in audio interface without having to change my audio imput preferences like I do with Ear Master. So, its does seem possible to have separate audio configurations for different applications.
Best,
Dana
