Recommended Headsets?

Im new to most of this ear training stuff. I was learning about it in class today and decided i should...well you know train my ears. So im reading, listening etc, etc and it got me thinking about my earbuds. I use these Altec Lansing Muzx earbuds for pretty much everything outside of production/recording. My main set of cans are Sennheiser HD280s. So long story short im looking to upgrade my earbuds for my day to day activities, any suggestions within a reasonable price tag?
