Student user
I have the teacher addition. I'm a private piano teacher and want to use EarMaster in my studio. My students will all use it on my computer in my studio. I've set up users for each student and given them only student access. When I log in as a student user, however, I can access everything I can access as the administrator. Surely that is not how it's supposed to work, is it?
Re: Student user
How are your students logging in?
An easy way to see if you are logged-in as teacher or student is to check the bottom-left section of the welcome screen. If it shows rolling texts ("welcome [name], etc."), then you are logged in as a student. If it shows the set of teacher features (course editor, melody database, student results, class/user management), then you are logged in as a teacher.
To activate the manual log in interface (so that users may log in with their own account), go to TOOLS-->System Administration Settings, and select "Local login".

Re: Student user
The "Local login" is activated and I created a user for each student. I set the access for each student to "student." Yet, each time a student logs in, they are logged in as a teacher. After they've logged out, when I log in and click "User Administration," the access of all students who logged in has changed to "teacher." This has been very consistent and I know that my students are not messing with their user information. They are only doing the exercises I've assigned.
Am I missing something?

Re: Student user
Thank you.
I managed to reproduce the problem, and it is a bug in the software. We are looking into it and it will be fixed as soon as possible in an update.
