Microphone not working after I downloaded update to EM6.2
I was previously able to sing a note into my microphone and the program would register it accurately. Now it registers the note but then deletes it. Please advise on how to remove the latest update.

Hello,
Mic input was not touched with the latest update, but perhaps some of your mic settings got reset. In which activity is the issue occurring?

melodic imitation. I fiddled with the mic settings and now it picks up sung notes. However, it requires me to sing the first note of the melody on the very first beat of the metronome and marks it all wrong if I don't . Very frustrating. Is there a way I can remove the last update?

It depends which lesson you are on. If there are chords played together with the melody (like most of the exercises of the new jazz course), then you will have to sing after one lead-in bar, together with the accompaniment. But for the other exercises, it works exactly as before, nothing has been changed for that aspect of the program.
If you are not using headphones and your mic settings are too sensitive, then it is possible that the mic is simply picking up the sound of the metronome, which would trigger the start of the evaluation. There are 2 solutions to that:
1. Use headphones with exercises that involve mic input (recommended solution).
2. Or lower the mic sensitivity in the mic calibration tool and, optionally, lower the volume of your speaker a little
