I just got Earmaster 6 -- wonderful program -- and the first thing I did, backup maven that I am, was to archive the installer from the CD to a backup disk. I then installed the program and checked for updates. I was told a critical update needed to be downloaded. I did, and installed that. My question: do I need to archive both the original installer (138mb) and the update (144mb)? Some updaters will run only if they can see a prior install. Or is the update complete by itself?
Thank you,
John

Re: Installer archive
Hi,
Update installers are actually full installers, so it's enough just to keep the newest one.
