Hello all,
I have a totally and disastrously untrained ear (and this is what caused my repeated failures in learning guitar, I think).
I think this software is a new hope for me, but I find a little bit confusing that there is not a guided path. For example now I'm stuck between lesson 14 and 15 of interval comparison. The help says that after "a number" of lessons I should try also other areas. What does it mean "a number"?
Do you have any suggestion on how to prepare an effective strategy for improving the musical using earmaster starting from scratch?
I think I can really use some guidance.
Thanks,
Zombie
In what order do I do the excercises?

you are not alone
I agree..
I am afraid I will be learning bad habbits. Should we keep working with it blindly and let it come to us.
I have used EM only two evenings and I do notice an improvement...
I just wish I understood what I am doing better.

In which order to exercize?
This is a time you should ask someone more experienced, or a music teacher, for advice. If you practice on your own, you should make a plan and stick to it . When you tell yourself: "I suck at rhythms, now I'm going to practice that" - stick to that until you get at least a bit better, and when you do, go practice something else you're not good at. That's what every experienced musician will tell you. NEVER practice something you are GOOD AT, if there's something you don't quite get, there's no point in that.
