Food for thought...

Post by vincent.croquette »

Hi EarMaster team

I was wondering why for compound time rhythm exercises, the metronome clicks every 1/8 note when it should click every dotted 1/4

Also, do you intend to add more patterns in rhythm dictation in the next version? (Sicilienne, 1/16 1/16 1/8 1/16 1/16...)?

Thanks in advance

Well, this was done in order to make it easier to configure exercices. This was a compromise in favour of user-friendly interfacing.

Now, about the extra patterns to be included in the next version of EM, we're thinking of adding the possibility for users to create very complex patterns, as well as maybe including standardized sophisticated patterns.

Hi Quentin - have you ever added this function to EM? Also the capability of adding or at least practicing various tuplets (quintuplets, septuplets...)? Thanks, Batis

This should come with V.6 .
We have started to develop it. If you have any suggestions for improvements or interesteing features, please add it to the EM6 Wishlist (on this forum). :-D
