Rhythm ex. missing first beat

this happened so often and it is frustrating.
When I hit the space bar, no sound came out. and the note gets delayed even though I play it accurately.

this bug has been there since last update

There used to be such a bug in an older Mac build. On what platform are you using EarMaster?

I'm getting it too on my Mac. Sorry, didn't see this post prior to making my post.

What build are you using? You can see that number at the top of the EarMaster window, in this format: 7.x.xx

Thank you. I managed to reproduce the error. It seems to happen on Mac only, when hitting the first note exactly on time using the space bar or the downward arrow. We are working on fixing it as soon as possible.
