Ipad microphone not working

When it plug in my P-S500 yamaha keyboard into the ipad it seems to deactivate the Ipads microphone so I can not clap out the rhythm. Is there any way to tell EarMaster to use only the ipads micophone? When I unplug from the keyboard EarMaster uses the Ipads microphone with out an issue.

Yes, you can open the exercise options (right-side panel) and enable microphone as "lower interface". This will re-enable microphone. Plugging a MIDI keyboard makes EarMaster think that it's what you want to use in the exercise, so it witches automatically to MIDI Input.
