Is there any way to pause an exercise? As an example, I'm working with melody and want to pause it a second to think of the sounds or answer the phone. However, the exercise keeps going. Can I pause an exercise?

If you want to stop the melody while it is beeing played, press F9.

If your problem is that the question is played over and over, then disable auto reapeat question.
