EarMaster Wishlist thread

Re: EarMaster Wishlist thread
It sounds like a very nice exercise! Could you maybe send a direct message to the development team in order to describe to themexactly how you would expect the exercise to work to fit your needs. You can send the message to feedback@earmaster.com, it will arrive directly in the mailbox of the head of development.

I would love to be able to save to random exercises to be able to recall that exercise and practice it as much as you want.
For example. Rhythmic sight reading. Sometimes an interesting and difficult pattern, once forwarded on is lost and I would like to return and practice it if I had not mastered it.

That's a very nice idea. A system of exercise presets is being developed at the moment where users can save multiple custom exercise setups and recall them later on. It could be a nice addition to save a lesson from a course or a workshop as a preset straight from the exercise screen. Would that match your wishes, or did I misunderstand your request?

Yes. That sounds like what I have in mind.
You start a rhythmic sight reading pattern, fo ecample, and If you are having difficulty accurately clapping a particular rhythmic pattern, then the option to save that rhythmic pattern and load it back latter to practice it again would be great.

On second reading of reply just to clarify. That with Rhythmic Sight Reading. It is the generated random rhythmic patterns I would like to be able to save to revisit to practice. Challenging Rhythmic patterns are generated and then lost once moved to another or application is closed. I would like the option to save them and recall the ones I want.
Thks

Ok I see, that's next level
Not something we even considered, to be honest, but a very good idea indeed. Reported to the team as well!

It would be so off the roof if yall had figured bass, and bass inversions, and secondary dominant notation in chord progressions. I know that it allows other voicings, but with no heavy bass on bottom. Heres an example from teoria. The reason why his could be really beneficial to earmaster pro is because ear master allows you to do chord progressions as building blocks as opposed to doing 9+ chords in a row as teoria doesnt really slowly build up to it. Also it would be cool if we could add other custom chords to the menu
Re: EarMaster Wishlist thread
This has a VERY high priority on our to-do list!

I am curious given the state of AI in the world - whether it is considered being utilised into the program?
For instance, adaptive difficulty where the questions become easier or harder, in real time depending on the user's performance etc. Focussing on a specific users weaknesses etc.

Re: EarMaster Wishlist thread
Yes, some of it is already implemented.. EarMaster reacts to your answers while an exercise is running and adapts its content on-the-fly. There are of course many other ways in which AI could be used ot improve the user experience.

I don't know if this has been already commented, but I need ties and silences in Melodic Sight-singing in Customized exercises...
Re: EarMaster Wishlist thread
Hi,
I need that the indication of the current bar in sight reading exercises to be hided -as an option at least-, as in the real world we don't have this indication in the music sheets.

Re: EarMaster Wishlist thread
Silences have been addded and will be available in the public version of EarMaster shortly. Ties will be added later.
I agree with you that it would be a great option to be able to hide the indicator that tells you which bar is currently active. I'll forward your suggestion to the rest of the team.
Thanks!

Re: EarMaster Wishlist thread
I just want to be able to move my custom chords and scale list selections up and down kind of like i can do to the source library in melodic dictation.
