Seriously?! No response. I am a real person, who eats, dreams, sleep ear training all day and I don't get help?!
This could be a sign that the EarMaster company is not after the development of a good ear in music, but more of getting the money.

Microphone doesn't work on EarMasterPro 5
I have EarMaster 6 and the microphone for the interval singing works just fine. The problem with EarMaster 6 is that the intervals are limited. It doesn't have every interval variation. Whereas in EarMaster Pro 5, it has every interval variation. The only problem is that the microphone doesn't work ...

Re: Not progressing with Sight-Singing and Melody Imitation
In the EarMaster 6, I am still using Melodic Dictation and Interval Singing, but not anymore Sight-Singing and Melody Imitation. I think those features are nothing but a bust in EarMaster 6.

Re: Not progressing with Sight-Singing and Melody Imitation
The book that I bought called Progressive Sight-Singing by Carol Krueger came today and I used it right away. In my first use, I am making big leaps in progress and I remember hearing solfege syllables in my head after doing the exercises. As for EarMaster. It is a crappy program, with a defunct met...

Not progressing with Sight-Singing and Melody Imitation
I purchased EarMaster 6, because of it's singing activities. Due to problems with, I don't know, the microphone, the configuration, technical difficulties, etc, it just defeats the purpose of why I bought this software. Part of the problem is that the beginner's exercises for sight-singing and melod...

Microphone Problem
I am having trouble with the singing exercises on EarMaster 6. In the sight-singing, I am singing the correct pitches, but the computer would consider it a wrong answer. I would play the correct answer to correct myself and I was singing the same pitches. The melody imitation is even worst. There wa...

Re: Interval Singing acting stupid
Okay, what I did is that when it absorbs the wrong pitches, I just use an eraser. I am still singing the right interval. My annoyance are the unnecessary pitches. No help from earmaster.com.

Interval Singing acting stupid
I think it's a microphone problem. When I try to sing, it absorbs the wrong pitches easily, while the correct interval takes too much effort to be placed on the answer input.
Is there something in the settings that need to be adjusted?
Thanks

Struggling with Sight-Singing
I am a beginner at Sight-Singing. I am doing sight-singing to improve my ear, but my voice doesn't have a good grasp of the pitches. When I see a notation, I don't know how to sing it most of the time. I have been practicing on a regular basis, but I seem to be getting worst. I have been using the e...

Sight-Singing and Transcribing Melodies
I recently purchased EarMaster Pro 6 and its on the way. The reason why I purchased the program is because of its sight-singing feature. I did sight-singing at school and I did terrible with the sight-singing component, but I was fascinated by it. I was fascinated because, I saw some famous instrume...

For example, chord progressions. In each folder, you can configure to have a different set of exercises of chord progressions. That's what I mean. It usually shows up beside the customized exercise area.

I want to have an unlimited amount of exercises in the scale, chord identification, and chord progressions. The problem I have is that the area where you configure new exercises is already full. I solved this problem by making a new folder. Unfortunately, my laptop crashed because the motherboard wa...

Using Melodic Dictation in the long term
I have been using the Melodic Dictation exercise for a few months and have been progressing well. What I want to achieve in the Melodic Dictation is to transcribe complex solos, melodies, and phrases instantly by ear. Right now when I hear a melody in my Ipod, I still don't recognize the melody. In ...
