on iPod Touch
I would more than love to see Earmaster on my iPod Touch, I would use it every single day. You should be able to scroll though the keyboard, tap rhythm or bpm, play single note or a whole chord, change size of the keyboard, display two keyboards at once, post your results into Hole of Fame over wifi...

Hi Zekibey, this shouldn't be a problem, provided you have registered your serial online, if you bought it in a store. If you purchased it through EarMaster website, you're automatically reigistered. All you have to is write to the guys from EarMaster support (to support2[at]earmaster[dot]com, spam ...

Rhythm reading Lesson 25
Hi bm, my first advice to you would be to use mouse buttons instead of CTRL button, I find this to be slightly more precise on my computer. Also try experimenting with sound card delay (Tools/Prog setting/MIDI devices/Synch rhythms) or lower the tempo under 90 bmp. You may be able to avoid buying th...

Language icons!
Hi all, I have a suggestion: earmaster should put languages icons alongside all the languages it has been translated to, that makes it easier for users to select their native language (country), and it makes earmaster visually more attractive and sophisticated, not only on the website but the progra...

Song structure
This is the way I analyze song I want to play, first give the song a listen a couple of times, then I see the structure, write it down, together with corresponding chords, and then go through the whole process once again by playing with the song in the background.

dissecting/putting the song back together
Back after a while. Now stronger to confront the same issue - that of analyzing a song without ruining it and killing all the pleasure of unknown. So I came to the conclusion: when I have to analyze a certain song, I'll do it only to memorize parts and to be able to replay it, and then that's it, I ...

sharps and flats by mouse
Hey there ibai, it seems to be impossible to enter sharps or flats by mouse, i just tried. This used to be possible in previous builds, but i guess it has been removed now, i remember that you could enter sharps just by moving the mouse to the left or right, while holding left key pressed, but unfor...

disabilities
There are quite a lot keyboard shortcuts, although EarMaster wasn't especially designed for blind people, cause programmers have much other things to deal with, they have to fix bugs, they have to add new features, and finally, make a Mac version. But I'm sure they will deal with this matter too, wh...

it's not a bug, you are answering the wrong way
Hi Michael (is it Michael or Michal on Polish?), I think this is not a bug - you entered just the second note, G, and skipped the first, F#. In order to give the complete answer, you need to enter them both. Although you are right about the scale B major, it goes like that, only spelled correctly go...

getting through the interval identification exercise
Yap, I had the same trouble with intervals. At first, I was having a hard time to establish whether I hear minor or major 3rd, than after I while it was quite easy, you just use a melody from a song you know, and you ear gets used to that sound; again the story repeats at 4th and 5th, major/minor 6t...

dissecting/putting the song back together
This is to everyone: Normally, in music theory you are suppose to analyze the song by dissecting all its parts (intro, verse, chorus, bridge, etc.), and than use this knowledge to bring the song back to one whole. But the problem I have is that once I dissect the song into its parts, the song is rui...

jumping ahead in Melodic Dictation
If I were you, Amyrich, I'd take my time. Unless you are absolutely sure you are that good in the first few lessons that you don't even need to do them, you can gladly advance without any more practice. But those first few lessons are important in establishing your sense of tonality and relations of...

List of all lessons in Standard Tutor
Well Shane, yes and no. No not directly, but you can generate it indirectly. For that, you gotta have School version of EM, that you load the desired tutor and select Tools/Export all text to clipboard , and that gives you absolutely every text line found in, say, Standard Tutor. The list is not in ...
