Whenever I try to change a setting in the midi devices preferences the program stops responding. Is there a way to fix that?
thanks

Hi,
Are you on Windows or Mac OSX? And which version of the OS are you using?
Also, are you using EarMaster 5 or 6?

Ok, thanks.
Have you tried to run the "check for updates" function to see if there's a new build available? You will find it in the HELP menu of EarMaster.

I'm using the latest version. I'll wait for a new version to see if that gets fixed,

This is not a general problem, as it doesn't happen on our own computers and the problem has not been reported by other users, so I assume there must be something in your setup that causes the freezing. Are you using an external soundcard?
