I have Windows 8. Each time I try to activate, I get the message: "We cannot connect the activation server at this time (500)"
I am connected to the internet and have correctly entered all required information. I visited the support page, disabled Firewall; and still get the same message.

Yes I also have same problem...no proxy no firewall. And I was using three months ago without any problem, One day, suddenly this problem appeared. I have uninstalled and installed again, but no differences

Do you have the latest build (current build is 651)?
To check that, go to the Help menu of EarMaster and click on check for updates. If an update is available, you will be invited to download it.
